Staghorn Fern

Platycerium

The Staghorn Fern features 2 types of fronds. At the base of the plant, the leaves are flat, round and light green and turn brown as they age. The second type of fronds is fertile, growing from the basal fronds, and can reach up to 3 feet long. These fronds are green with white, felty scales and their shape resembles staghorn deer antlers.
