The dense, multi-stemmed, rounded shrub gets its common name from the transformation of its medium-green elliptical leaves into brilliant red fall foliage. Early to flower with deep rose buds opening to single fragrant pink blooms. The reddish new foliage changes to green with coppery-bronze tips in the summer. The compact oval habit and upright branching makes them suitable for restricted spaces.
