Juniper: Blue Star
Blue Star Juniper is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a more or less rounded form. This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. 'Blue Star' juniper is a needled evergreen shrub with silverly-blue, densely-packed foliage. If you take a bird's-eye view of the shrub, you will notice that the clusters of needles atop the tiny stems resemble stars.
